Code Master - Source Code Editor App Reviews

I am on an iPhone 6 with iOS9.1 Good: App has a great interface for a free download and works as an html editor except for problems below. Bad: After reaching the bottom of a page, I was unable to scroll down to continue typing or see what was behind my keyboard. The syntax highlighting only picked up html not javascript even when I gave the document html tags and put my js in script tags. I also tried saving the document with a .js extension but the highlighting didnt change. Lastly when I saved my document and returned to the main menu then clicked on the document again it had reverted back to the first time Id saved it (with 3 characters in the page) so I lost my entire block of code. Overall: Looks great and functions(ish) but has some major bugs that need to be addressed.

I was able to write a simple little JavaScript inside of some HTML and CSS. Great tool

Good tools are super valuable. Very impressed by this app. Please do not get too discouraged by negative feedback. Your app is way better than mine. Which is not written yet. Or on the App Store.

Well, nothing is wrong with this! I uninstalled it before the massive rebuild, although I dont remember why. I use this when I am on the go, and it is a pretty valuable and free text editor. The design is very clean, and while I typically like more complex designs, I have to say... It makes everything feel much more organized, and less busy. Speaking of organized, it has the ability to link JavaScript and CSS, which is not available in all mobile text editors. The built in Web browser is great. It seems to only need standard CSS syntax for things such as box shadows, or animation to run. The support of dev keyboards is handy. It is a pretty solid editor!

I cant get the editor to scroll. The keyboard covers the area I am trying to edit. It looks good, but I cant use it. I hate to post a negative review, but there doesnt seem to be any other way to provide feedback.

Crashes a lot, not really sure whats up with the user interface. Its not really clear what any of the icons mean or how to get around the app.

The only problem is the lack of iOS 9 tooltip support (the button in the bottom left crashes the app)

The app is amazing Im eleven and learned JavaScript and html last year and love coding this app is so helpful because I cant get on my moms computer often but one problem is after you type then presse the keyboard down you cant scroll and when I am at the bottom of the page the keyboard covers about 7-9 lines of coding but other than that the app is super helpful

A tutorial in-app would be nice to explain features but other than that good app. Thanks for the free easy app, keep it up!

I really love it, the editor is way better than some other on the computer. The only problem was that i cant get the editor to scroll, what is a huge problem. I hope that itll be fixed, but the app is still amazing, thanks!

Scrolling is much needed. I cant write the rest of my code because I cant even see it.

I am not even sure what this app is. The editor menu item sends me to the App Store to buy a ten dollar app. I didnt expect much of a editor though it took about 2 seconds to download. I am assuming it adds syntax highlighting to another app or something.

The app is amazing I can practice all my coding skills. However just one thing that makes it kind of inconvenient. After I get to the bottom of the page the keyboard gets in the way. But overall its a good way for someone that learn HTML/CSS.

Its nice job But has some miss orders in determinig elements and function that may annoy programmers.please review the editor code finder to be best Best wishes for you.

This does not do anything that it claims to do. Dont bother downloading this.

The app is really pretty to look at, but I deleted it after about 5 minutes because of 2 annoying problems. 1.) You cannot scroll and the keyboard covers many lines of code, rendering the app cumbersome and useless 2.) There is a non-descript button, that when pressed, directs you to an ad to buy a different editor. This locks up the app on the ad screening forcing you to restart it. Dont waste your time
